NORTHWESTERN QUEBEC TEMEX RESOURCES of Toronto has drilled a new gold zone at the Juby joint venture near Val d'Or. The Juby joint venture is a 50/50 partnership of Temex (the operator) and GOLDEYE EXPLORATIONS. It consists of 40 claims surrounding Temex's 100%-owned Juby lease which includes the Juby Main zone.
The new discovery was made 1.1 km northwest of the Juby Main zone. Drill core zone returned two separate intervals that assayed 3.24 g/t Au over a core length of 2.24 metres including 5.85 g/t over 1.11 metres and a separate interval which yielded 5.18 g/t over 1.71 metres including 6.96 g/t over 0.92 metres. Both of these intervals were contained in a broader zone that averaged 0.89 g/t Au over a core length of 29.85 metres (JU 04-64).
Temex report encouraging results from several other holes drilled in the area. A comprehensive surface exploration program will begin at the Juby joint venture later this month. See also www.TemexCorp.com
