NORTHERN QUEBEC In the spirit of co-operation rather than confrontation, CREE GOLD and VIRGINIA GOLD MINES have joined forces to explore over 14,200 km in the Mistissini region. Cree Gold is an active mining exploration company controlled by aboriginal investors in this northern community.
The Mistissini Strategic Alliance is a 50/50 joint venture. The partners will together carry out geological reconnaissance, sampling and exploration work. Both gold-bearing and base metal mineralization is targeted. The first phase of reconnaissance work is planned for the summer of 2004.
