NORTHERN ONTARIO - The old Detour Lake gold property, which is being re-explored by PELANGIO MINES of Toronto, is surrendering evidence of more ounces with each campaign. The highest grades from eight recent holes in the M zone were 82.36 g/t Au over 0.47 m, 15.38 g/t Au over 2.10 m and 7.33 g/t Au over 1.00 m.

The M zone is located in the western part of the property. The portion that was drilled extends approximately 300 m and is open to the east and west as well as at depth. Former operator PLACER DOME put inferred resources in the zone at 2.90 million tonnes grading 1.86 g/t Au or 173,435 oz of gold. Pelangio's estimate, made in May 2005, puts indicated resources at 2.48 million tonnes grading 2.00 g/t Au, or 159,797 contained oz, and inferred resources at 23.39 million tonnes grading 2.29 g/t Au or 1.7 million oz.
