MANITOBA - San Gold Corp. of Winnipeg says recent drilling demonstrates the robust widths and grades within the L10 zone at its Rice Lake mining complex at Bissett. Hole 11-114 cut 27.0 g/t Au over 5.0 metres at a depth of 416 metres and drill hole 11-018, intersecting 115 g/t over 1.0 metre. These results indicate that the L10 zone extends to more than 1,000 metres below surface, roughly equivalent to the 18 level in the nearby Rice Lake gold mine.

San Gold says that deeper drilling continues to intersect similar widths and grades at depth. For example, hole 11-009 cut 22.9 g/t Au over 5.4 metres at 569 metres below surface, and hole 11-015 assayed 7.1 g/t over 1.6 m at more than 1,000 metres below surface.

A table of the complete drill hole results and maps of the hole locations are posted at www.SanGold.ca.
