HAWTHORNE, Nevada The first pour of gold from the Esmeralda project of METALLIC VENTURES GOLD was on Feb. 16. The company purchased the former producer in March 2000.
Metallic Ventures commissioned the 351-tons/day CIL mill in January using low-grade development ore. By next month stockpiled higher-grade material will be processed.
