MANITOBA - SAN GOLD CORP. of Bissett, Manitoba, has put the Rice Lake mine and mill back into production. The 1,125-tonne/day mill has been upgraded with work such as repairs to the primary ball mill trunion bearings, installation of an additional gravity circuit, and the addition of new surveillance and security systems.

Initially, the mill will be run at up to 900 tonnes/day, 24 hours/day and will process development ore that has been stockpiled on surface and underground. The mill head grades will be increased over the next few weeks by blending development ore with higher grade production ore. Once this process is completed and the head grades are stabilized, the mill is expected to run at its planned 95% gold recovery benchmark.

San Gold is concentrating its development efforts on the 30th level of the mine. The mine was previously known as the Bissett gold property.

A radio interview with president Dale Ginn is archived at www.SanGoldCorp.com.
