ONTARIO - July 2005 is the date set for the startup of milling at the Stock gold complex of ST ANDREW GOLDFIELDS. The mill is located 50 km east of Timmins and will initially treat ore from the new Clavos mine. A 10-km haul road from the Clavos mine to the mill should be completed in August.

The Clavos gold mine has been the site of 18,200 m of underground drilling over the past few months. A program of drifting and stope preparation has begun on the 200-m and 250-m levels. St Andrew plans to increase tonnage to 700 tons/day by December. The deposit is estimated to contain 753,000 tonnes of indicated resources at 7.3 g/t Au and 129,000 tonnes of inferred resources at 8.9 g/t Au.

St Andrew is planning advanced underground exploration at its Taylor project for the fourth quarter of this year. There is surface infrastructure, a headframe and a 170-m shaft at the site.

The company also announced a business combination of itself and HERITAGE EXPLORATIONS. The company will continue operating under the St Andrew Goldfields banner (www.StAndrewGoldfields.com).
