QUEBEC – Clifton Star Resources of Quebec City has filed a 43-101 study for its Duparquet project, including the Beattie tailings, 45 km northwest of Rouyn-Noranda. The total resource is 19,000 tonnes at 2.10 g/t Au (measured), 29.6 million tonnes at 1.80 g/t (indicated) and 29.1 million tonnes at 1.78 g/t (inferred).

The total mineral resource includes estimates for three separate areas: an in-pit indicated resource of 21.9 million tonnes at 1.81 g/t Au and an inferred resource of 23.1 million tonnes at 1.53 g/t (0.60 g/t cut-off); an underground indicated resource of 3.6 million tonnes at 2.74 g/t Au and an inferred resource of 6.0 million tonnes at 2.76 g/t (2.0 g/t cut-off); and the Beattie tailings resources including a measured portion of 19,000 tonnes at 2.10 g/t Au and an indicated portion of 4.1 million tonnes at 0.93 g/t (0.60 g/t cut-off).

Clifton Star (CFO-Star.com) says its next step will be to initiate a preliminary economic assessment of the Duparquet project.
