ONTARIO – Toronto-based Northern Gold Mining is spreading the word that the updated resource estimate for its Garrcon gold deposit near Kirkland Lake contains material in the measured category for the first time. The tally: 604,000 oz in the measured category, 668,000 oz in the indicated category and 367,000 oz in the inferred category.

The total measured and indicated resource (at 0.3 g/t cut-off) is 38.74 million tonnes grading 1.03 g/t Au and containing 1.27 million oz of gold. The inferred resource is 15.78 million tonnes grading 0.72 g/t or 367,000 contained oz.
