NORTHWEST TERRITORIES - TYHEE DEVELOPMENT of Vancouver says it has been able to increase total gold at its Yellowknife project to 1.43 million oz with the addition of another 125,000 oz to its overall resource base. The change was made on the basis of assays from 54 of the 110 diamond drill holes the company drilled in 2006. Additional assays are pending.

Measured and indicated resources now stand at 7.26 million t grading 3.99 g/t Au. There are also 4.49 million t of inferred resources at 3.42 g/t Au.

Tyhee holds 100% of the Yellowknife project located 90 km north of the city of the same name. The company believes the total resource will be expanded when results of drilling in the Ormsby zone and along strike are received. The zone has been developed with 959 m of decline and two subdrifts. Approximately 6,800 t of ore have been stockpiled on the surface.

Details of the Yellowknife project are posted at www.Tyhee.com.
