GOLD-SILVER MINING – Ocampo heap leach to grow

MEXICO - GAMMON LAKE RESOURCES of Halifax has announced plans to expand the open pit crusher and heap leach at its Ocampo gold-silver mine in Chihuahua. The company says it will spend US$2.5 million to add one more cone crusher at the site, a boost of 1,500 tonnes/day to its crushing capacity. The additional crusher is already on site.

The project will be complete in February 2007, increasing Gammon Lake's annual production to 285,000 oz of gold and 12.7 million oz of silver.
