NORTHWESTERN QUEBEC Vancouver-based INTERNATIONAL TAURUS RESOURCES (62%) and its partner FAIRSTAR EXPLORATIONS report that test mining at the Fenelon joint venture continues with ore being stockpiled at the nearby Camflo mill belonging to RICHMONT MINES. The first mill run will begin this month on 7,000 tonnes. The goal is to complete a 40,000-tonne test by year-end.

The current test-mining stopes are revealing strong gold mineralization associated with silicified zones containing copper and iron sulphides. Mineralized widths in the "B" stope on the 5213 level have ranged from about one to more than 2.5 metres and current exposures on the "D-E" stope on the 5213 and 5228 levels indicate mineralized widths of four to five metres.

The underground workings will provide access to test mine, and to prove up to reserve status. A technical report completed in 2003 suggested that Fenelon's indicated resources of 49,550 tonnes grading 11.24 g/t Au and inferred resources of 38,840 tonnes grading 10.49 g/t Au. A new estimate is being compiled.

The Fenelon project is located on the Detour Lake Break in the Casa Berardi region of northwest Quebec. More details are available at www.TaurusResources.com.
