QUEBEC - Rouyn-Noranda-based RESSOURCES PERSHIMCO has completed mining 12,000 tonnes of gold ore from its starting pit on the Courville property near Val d'Or. The bulk sample will be trucked 90 km to RICHMONT MINES' Camflo mill where processing will begin by Dec. 15.

The milling test will confirm the ore attributes and grade of its mineral inventory, estimated at 525,000 tonnes from which the bulk sample was taken. The entire recognized structure stands 1 km long by 75 metres wide and 100 metres deep. Based on current information, bottom testing is still wide open for exploration and a drilling program is expected in the near future to test its depth over 100 metres, enabling Pershimco to reassess the size of the deposit.

In November 2004 the company reported grades as high as 166 g/t Au and 455 g/t Ag in drill core from the Courville deposit. The Pershimco website is under construction at www.pershimco.ca, but recent press releases are already posted.
