LANGLEY, British Columbia - A gathering of over 200 customers, vendors and employees watched the ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of K2, KNELSON's new 20,000 sq-ft state-of-the-art equipment assembly plant.

In attendance were special guests, Hon. Mark Warawa, Federal Conservative MP for Langley, and Mary Polak, Provincial Liberal MLA for Langley. Both addressed the crowd prior to the ribbon cutting.

As Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of the Environment, it really pleases me to see a local company like Knelson producing and exporting this world class technology to the global marketplace, MP Warawa commented in his speech.

In her address, MLA Polak stated, It's obvious from this gathering that Knelson has a wonderful group of very dedicated people and you have a terrific story to tell the world - you should all be very proud of your accomplishments and Langley is very fortunate to have Knelson as a corporate citizen in our community.

Knelson No.2 Plant - or K2 as is has been branded - is a new, stand-alone facility that has become the home of Knelson final machine assembly, pre-shipment run-up testing, electrical and instrumentation assembly, software development, spare parts warehousing, export packing and logistics.
