ONTARIO - On May 25 an employee of DYNATEC CORP. was killed at the Podolsky shaft sinking project northeast of Sudbury. The Podolsky property is owned by FNX MINING CO. of Toronto.

Maintenance mechanic Ray Campeau, 47, was working on the shaft sinking platform when the accident occurred. He was rushed by air ambulance to the Sudbury hospital where it was subsequently reported that he had died as a result of his injuries. Funeral services were held on Monday in Sudbury.

Dynatec is co-operating fully with authorities to determine the cause of the accident, and the investigation is ongoing.
