NORTHERN ONTARIO RANDSBURG INTERNATIONAL GOLD CORP. of Toronto has cut major drill intersections of iron and titanium from its 100%-owned Flett Township project. The property covers 3,000 hectares approximately 70 km north of North Bay.
Hole RA 1-04, drilled on the southern portion of an EM anomaly in the eastern portion of the property, returned an average grade of 13.37% TiO2 from surface to 170 metres. It also assayed an average of 44.48% Fe2O3, for an average iron content of 31.09%. A second nearby hole has returned partial assays similar to those from RA 1-04.
Randsburg has two active exploration projects in Ontario, one in Flett Township and the other in McClintock Township. They are being evaluated for their nickel, copper, PGM and other potential.
