Vancouver-based GEMCOM SOFTWARE INTERNATIONAL INC. has signed an agreement with MINEMAX PTY. LTD. to integrate MineMAX production scheduling software into the GEMS system. The new capabilities will be made available in GEMS 5.3, which is to be released at the end of April.
With seamless integration between planning and production scheduling tasks, users will be able to quickly produce Gantt charts, daily schedules and other reports. In addition, the two-way flow of information between planning and production tasks will allow the effect of equipment resource changes to be rapidly assessed. Timely corrective action can then be taken to minimize the impact on production targets.
