Built into the 6.0 release are a new electronic feature and project explorer (for tracking and organizing tools and data). It also has enhanced map-editing capabilities, unlimited undo/redo, layer transparency, and polygon and line editing improvements. The core Oasis montaj software now has a Geosoft full library of gridding algorithms, and advanced gridding utilities. Specialized processing and advanced analysis tools are now distinct montaj extensions with enhanced capabilities. Extensions range from geophysics, geochemistry and drill hole plotting through to geophysical levelling, gravity/magnetic interpretation, induced polarization and UX-detect.
