ORLANDO, Florida - MPV Tech has cracked the case! An accurate, real time solution for density measurements of a slurry has been a necessity in the mining industry for years. MPV Tech aims to provide this solution with a piece of equipment called the MassExact.

While other pieces of technology have attempted to solve the riddle, the MassExact is the first low maintenance, accurate and highly precise meter on the market. This state-of-the-art density gauge uses a simple mathematical equation to read the specific gravity of a slurry. This crucial information is delivered in real time for mining operations.

The MassExact’s 95.5% accuracy and real time measurement will achieve increased efficiency, value, and effectiveness.  The MassExact’s patented in-line cartridge provides a complete reference sample for continuous evaluation. Increased efficiency and visibility allows for tighter process controls. Unmatched accuracy and higher sample volume facilitates greater processing of tailings and other low density change measurement.  The abrasion resistant liner is standard or custom units can be made for highly corrosive slurries.

Other types of density meters can provide density measurements, however there are limitations. For example, Coriolis meters are not able to withstand abrasive slurries. Ultrasonic meters are not as accurate. Even the nuclear meter, which has become an industry standard, comes with limitations.
