QUEBEC - CANADIAN ROYALTIES of Montreal reports favourable metallurgical test results from its Mesamax, Expo and Mequillon nickel/copper/PGE deposits at its Raglan South nickel project in the Ungava Peninsula. Forecast nickel recoveries range from 75 to 82%; copper recoveries range from 83 to 98%; platinum recoveries range from 60 to 80%; and palladium recoveries range from 80 to 93%. The tests were conducted by SGS LAKEFIELD LABORATORIES under the supervision of consulting geologist Klaus Konigsmann.

Development of the project will probably involve building a mill that will produce separate copper and nickel concentrates using conventional flotation techniques.

The resource estimate is currently being updated. Complete 2004 exploration results for the properties are posted at www.CanadianRoyalties.com.
