VANCOUVER FINNING (CANADA), a division of Finning International, has entered into an exclusive supplier agreement with LUSCAR LTD. The 10-year contract names Finning (Canada) the only supplier of mine support equipment and associated parts, accessories, attachments and services for Luscar's open pit coal mines in Alberta. The contract is worth between $25 million and $35 million.
Luscar is Canada's largest producer of low-sulphur thermal coal. It operates 10 surface mines located in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan producing bituminous, sub bituminous and lignite thermal coals. Visit www.luscar.ca.
