TOURNIGAN GOLD CORPORATION (formerly Tournigan Ventures Corp.) has selected a technical advisory board as well as a new name. Members include Thomas Allen (senior partner Ogilvy Renault), Doug Amy (financial consultant), Stephen Flechner (formerly of Gold Fields Mining), Bob Frost (chairman of Johnson Matthey), Peter Hooper (mining engineer), and Ralf Kleine (past president of Asamera Minerals). No changes have been made to Tournigan's capital structure, trading symbol or CUSIP number.
Andr Kalp, PGeol, has been named chief geologist at FIRST POINT MINERALS in Toronto. First Point is to begin drilling at the Cacamaya gold-silver prospect in Honduras next month.
Rodney N. Thomas, PGeol, has joined TWIN MINING CORP. as its vice-president of exploration. He will oversee the exploration program on the company's 100%-owned Jackson Inlet kimberlite prospect on the west coast of the Brodeur Inlet on Baffin Island. He is also responsible for Twin Mining's 82%-owned Atlanta gold exploration project in Idaho.
