Warren Holmes has joined the board of NUINSCO and is also taking up the responsibilities of president and COO. He is a professional engineer with a degree in mining engineering from Queen's University and an MBA from Western University. Holmes is well known in the mining industry, having recently resigned from an executive position at Falconbridge.

Fred George, president of GAMMON LAKE RESOURCES, has announced the resignation of Terence R.B. Donahoe as a director, vice-president and chairman of the company. Donahoe is pursuing personal business initiatives.

Elizabeth Kirkwood has been named chairman of MOUNTAIN PROVINCE DIAMONDS. She has been involved in Canadian diamond exploration since 1995 and a member of the Mountain Province board since September 2001. Kirkwood replaces retiring-chairman Dr. Paul Shatzko. David N. Siegel has also retired from the board.

WALLBRIDGE MINING CO. has appointed Alar Soever, PGeo, as its new president and a director. He comes to Wallbridge from Watts, Griffis & McQuat where he worked since 1988. Soever takes over from Wayne Whymark who has resigned.

There is a new CFO at NOVAGOLD. He is Don MacDonald, who returns to the mining industry after two years as senior VP and CFO of a biotechnology company. Prior to that he held the same position at De Beers Canada Mining.
