DRC RESOURCES CORP. has appointed a new chief financial officer, Ian M. Beardmore. He has been a member of The Institute of Chartered Accounts of B.C. since 1972 and is presently in public practice. Former CFO C. Robert Edington has resigned that position but remains on the DRC board of directors.

Charles Smith has resigned from the board of MANHATTAN MINERALS CORP., and Larry Glaser has been named CEO. Dr. Glaser was CEO of the company between June 2001 and July 2002, and has also been executive chairman since April 2002. Manhattan Minerals also said it has closed a $2.4-million financing to continue work in Peru.

AXMIN INC. has designated Craig Banfield as secretary; he is also CFO of the company, a chartered accountant, and experienced in the operation of public markets and finance. Axmin is a mineral exploration company with a focus on gold in several African countries.
