Vancouver-based
Cornerstone Metals has added R. Stuart “Tookie” Angus to its advisory board. He is presently chair of San Marco Resources, K92 Mining, and Kenadyr Mining (Holdings). He was formerly head of the Global Mining Group for Fasken Martineau.
Maura Lendon has been appointed to the board of
Eastmain Resources in Toronto. She brings to the board her more than 25 years in a variety of legal appointments in the mining and telecom sectors. Most recently she was chief counsel and secretary of Primero Mining.
McEwen Mining of Toronto has named Chris Stewart to the posts of president and COO, effective Sept. 1, 2018. He replaces Xavier Ochoa who has resigned. Stewart was recently president and CEO of Treasury Metals.
Toronto-based
QMX Gold Corp. says Dr. Andreas Rompel has joined the company as VP exploration. He replaces Jules Riopel. David Rigg will continue to serve as senior VP and strategic advisor.
The newest director at
Wallbridge Mining Co. in Toronto is Janet Wilkinson. She has 25 years of consulting, corporate and operations experience including more than 70 mining and metals businesses throughout the Americas and in Australia.
