ANATOLIA MINERALS DEVELOPMENT has appointed Douglas Tobler of Denver, Colo., as full-time CFO to the company, replacing John Powers, who has served as part-time CFO since founding the company. Tobler is presently president of FALCON STRATEGIC PARTNERS, and has previously served as CFO to ECOMM SYSTEMS CORP. and GENERAL MINERALS CORP.
James Grinnell, CGA, has been appointed CFO and corporate secretary of Vancouver-based BOULDER MINING CORP. Grinnell has 25 years of experience as a CFO and the last 10 years as CFO, corporate secretary administering public companies. He was employed by McINTYRE MINES as mine site controller for its coal mining operation near Grande Cache, Alta., for two years and CFO while maintaining the mine site responsibilities for six years.
COREX GOLD CORP. of Vancouver has appointed Dr. John Carden as VP Exploration. He is currently a consulting geologist with MINEFINDERS CORP. in Mexico, and was previously the U.S. director of operations for ECHO BAY EXPLORATION. Carden brings over 30 years of experience in precious metal exploration experience including the discovery of two properties that became producing mines.
Vancouver-based X-CAL RESOURCES LTD. has appointed Larry Kornze, P.Eng., and Robert Preston to its Board of Directors increasing the size of the board from five to six directors. Daniel Kappes is departing the Board of X-Cal but will continue to consult to the company.

of Vancouver, have appointed William D. McCartney to their boards of directors. McCartney has been the president of PEMCORP MANAGEMENT INC. since 1990.
Vancouver-based LAKE SHORE GOLD CORP. and SUPERIOR DIAMONDS INC. have both appointed Murray A. Gordon, CA, to their boards of directors. Gordon has 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He was employed by PLACER DOME INC. for 23 years and held a number of senior financial positions both in the Vancouver office and at the operations.
TLC VENTURES CORP. of Vancouver has appointed Dr. Sally Eyre as president, CEO and a director of the company. She has held executive positions with a number of mineral exploration and development companies including MANHATTAN MINERALS and most recently with SOUTHERNERA RESOURCES where she was VP Corporate Affairs.
Philip Martin has resigned from the board of Toronto-based RNC GOLD INC. Joining the board are Kabir Ahmed and Leslie Coe. Ahmed is president and CEO of NORTHWESTERN MINERAL VENTURES INC. Coe is president of HEMCO DE NICARAGUA S.A. and DESARROLLO MINERO DE NICARAGUA S.A., RNC's key operating subsidiaries.
The current officers and directors of Toronto-based HORNBY BAY EXPLORATION LTD. have all resigned, and a new slate of directors has been appointed, with George Bell as president and CEO. Bell brings over 30 years of domestic and international senior management experience in the natural resource industry, his background with the NORANDA GROUP of companies, in addition to six years of experience developing junior companies as an owner and operator. The new board of consists of Ronald Barnes (also chairman), Oliver Lennox-King, Lance Tigert, Bruno Arnold and Birks Bovaird.
SILK ROAD RESOURCES LTD. of Toronto has made changes to its Board of Directors. Jeff Lawson and Randal Matkaluk have resigned their positions on the Board. Joining the Board are the Hon. David R. Peterson (former Premier of Ontario) and Ron Binns, CFO of NEVADA CAPITAL CORP. LTD.
