ATLAS COPCO CONSTRUCTION AND MINING TECHNIQUE has named Peter Edmonds to the post of VP global strategic customers. He is a recipient of the 2006 CIM Distinguished Service Medal. He and his wife will continue to reside in Sudbury, Ont.
Paul Keyser has been named director of oil sands business development for FLSMIDTH MINERALS of Bethlehem, Penn. In addition to his new duties, Keyser will continue to management FLSmidth's Krebs product line for the oil sands industry.
GOLDEN HOPE MINES of Toronto has added Andre Douchane to its board. He is also president and CEO of Starfield Resources, chairman of North American Palladium and a director of Osisko Exploration.
Toronto-based HIGH RIVER GOLD MINES welcomes Michel D. Kelly as its new executive VP and COO, effective June 2, 2008. He is a graduate of Queen's University and former VP operations for the Diavik diamond mine. High River also announced the resignation of former VP and COO Daniel G. Vanin, who has accepted the position of president and CEO at Iberian Minerals.
Stephen Rogers, currently the chief development officer, will move up to the post of president and CEO at Toronto-based NAUTILUS MINERALS on July 10, 2008. He will succeed David Heydon who will remain with the company as a non-executive director.
