Vancouver-based ATW Gold Corp. has appointed Graham Harris its chairman and David Stone its COO.
The new executive of L'Association de l'exploration minière du Québec (AEMQ) includes the following people: Ghislain Poirier of Stornoway Diamond Corp. as president; Gino Roger of Exploration Midland as VP strategic planning; Marcel H. Jolicoeur of Genivar as VP communications; Jean-François Ouellette of Services techniques Géonordic as VP environment; Mathieu Savard of Mines Virginia as VP exploration; M. David McDonald of Exploration Typhon as VP finance; and Tony Brisson of Ressources Cogitore as secretary-treasurer.
Greg Johnson has been named to the board of Vancouver-based Northern Freegold Resources. He is also VP of strategic development at NovaGold Resources.
Trelawney Resources of Toronto has tapped Greg Gibson as president and CEO, replacing Wayne O'Connor who is retiring at the end of February 2009. Gibson has experience at base metal and gold mines in Canada and Australia and with various mining contractors.
