Paul A. Korpi, VP and COO at Toronto's CENTERRA GOLD, has resigned effective immediately.

Bruce Humphrey has moved into to the chairman's seat at CROWFLIGHT MINERALS of Toronto. Outgoing chairman Stan Bharti will remain on the board. Michael Hoffman has become president and CEO replacing Tom Atkins, who was terminated without cause.

GREAT PANTHER RESOURCES of Vancouver has appointed Charles Brown its new COO. Before accepting this position, he was New Gold's project manager during exploration and development of the Afton mine in British Columbia.

Moscow-based NORILSK NICKEL announced the appointment of Peter Breese as chief executive of its international mining and metallurgical operations. As part of the international executive team, Antti Aaltonen will continue in his role as managing director for Finland. Gerhard Potgieter will be the managing director for Africa. Ian Purdy will take up the role of managing director for Australia. Gary Johnson will be managing director of Norilsk Process Technology, which was formerly LionOre Technology and is responsible for the development of the innovative Activox hydrometallurgical process.

The new team of mine developers at OSISKO EXPLORATION's Malartic gold project is in place. It includes Luc Lessard as VP engineering and construction, Jean-Sebastien David as VP sustainable development, Paul Johnson as mining manager, Denis Cimon as mineral processing manager, and Andr Le Bell as VP legal affairs and corporate secretary.

TASEKO MINES of Vancouver has named Brian Battison VP of corporate affairs. His brief will include government and community relations, First Nations liaison, and sustainability, plus economic and social responsibility.
