BLUE NOTE MINING of Montreal has separated the roles of chairman and CEO: in particular Michael Judson who previously held both titles will now be president and CEO. John Martin has stepped out of the presidency to assume the new role of COO. Finally, Peter Watson, a director, has been named chairman of the board.

Dean H. Taylor is the new president and COO of DIAMCOR MINING, based in Kelowna, B.C. He has been a consultant to Diamcor for the past two years.

FIRST NICKEL has named Gerry Bilodeau as general manager of its Sudbury, Ont., operations. He credentials include manager of the Kidd Mine D project and project superintendent during development of the Raglan mine.

Vancouver-based SULTAN MINERALS has hired John D. Bishop to assist in choosing diamond drill targets at its Jersey-Emerald base metal project in southeast British Columbia.
