Harry Michael has been appointed to the board of Toronto-based EQUINOX MINERALS LTD. Michael was recently appointed COO to lead the development of the company's major Lumwana copper project in Zambia.
Vancouver-based MINCO SILVER CORP. has appointed two independent directors to its board: Wade K. Dawe of Halifax, N.S., and Chan-Seng Lee of Vancouver. Dawe has been an entrepreneur in Canadian mining and venture capital industries since 1994. Lee is presently the controller for Partnerships British Columbia Inc. The board now consists of Dr. Ken Z. Cai, William Meyer, Robert Quartermain, Wade Dawe and Chan-Seng Lee.

Bradford Cooke has been appointed to the board of Vancouver-based PINNACLE MINES LTD. Cooke is a professional geologist with more than 28 years experience in geology and mineral exploration. In 1987, he founded Canarc Resource Corp. and has overseen the growth of the company since that time.
