At London, Ont.-based CHINA DIAMOND CORP., George Laforme has been named chairman. He replaces Keith Minty who has become president and CEO. Former president Mike Michaud has resigned.

MEXIVADA MINING CORP. of Vancouver has named Alan J. Morris as VP exploration and Dr. Jean-Pierre Tutusaus as manager of special projects.

ROCMEC MINING, a junior company based in Montreal, welcomes Raymond Savoie as chairman of its board of directors. He was Quebec minister of mines from 1985-90 and minister of revenue until his retirement in 1994. Savoie is also a principal in Gastem and Ditem Exploration and serves on the board of Canadian Royalties.

There are three new faces on the management team of Calgary's TVI PACIFIC. Andrew Bradfield is now VP operations, Carl Caumartin becomes VP exploration, and Tim Armstrong is appointed VP project development at the company's Canatuan mine in the Philippines.

Vancouver-based YUKON RESOURCES has named J.A. Kirk McKinnon as president and CEO, Richard E. Schler as VP and CFO and William Nielsen to oversee property acquisitions and exploration. The three men have also joined the board of directors.
