Jan Vestrum, president and CEO of CREW GOLD of London, U.K., has stepped down. William LeClair, executive VP and CFO will assume his duties on an interim basis.

ICS COPPER SYSTEMS, headquartered in Abbotsford, B.C., has named Richard Molyneux its chairman of the board. He headed De Beers Canada from 2000 until his retirement in 2006. ICS Copper thanked outgoing chairman Mel Smale for his services.

Toronto-based PELE MOUNTAIN is assembling a team of uranium experts to develop its Eco Ridge mine near Elliot Lake, Ontario. The team includes VP uranium operations Fergus Kerr, and industry veterans Roger Payne and Don Hovdebo.

The newest members of the management team at SABINA SILVER of Vancouver are John Wakeford and Elaine Bennett, both former employees of Miramar Mining. They along with VP exploration Harvey Klatt and project Manager Don Parker will focus on the Hackett River silver-zinc project in Nunavut.
