Kenneth E. Hecker is now COO and CFO at Vancouver-based DIAMOND FIELDS INTERNATIONAL. His mandate includes overseeing worldwide diamond and nickel projects plus seeking new economic projects.

ATIKOKAN RESOURCES of Oakville, Ont., has named Claude Durocher to the board and as president and CEO of the company, effective March 1. Current president Ray Bernatchez, will remain on the board and become chief geologist.

Daniel Dupre has joined IPC RESISTORS of Mississauga, Ont., as sales manager serving customers in Quebec. He is responsible for IPC’s neutral grounding resistors and for its ground fault detection, protection and location systems.

Vancouver-based CANDORADO OPERATING COMPANY has retained John Ostler to oversee the exploration of the company’s mineral projects. A graduate of the University of Guelph and Carleton University, Ostler has over 30 years’ experience including tenure with the Geological Survey of Canada as well as major and junior mining companies.
