FNX MINING of Toronto has appointed Bruce Walter and John Lill to its board of directors. Both men also hold executive positions at Dynatec Corp.

Don Parsons is the new VP operations for Vancouver-based IMPERIAL METALS CORP. He was a key member of the Mount Polley mine development and operating team from 1996 through 2001. He then spent four years with Tercon Enterprises. Parsons will be based in the company's Vancouver offices.

IVANHOE MINES of Vancouver has named Gene Wusaty as president of its Mongolian coal division. In the coal industry, Wusaty worked for Elk Valley, Fording, Quintette and Grande Cache.

A resident of Beijing, Patrick Powers have been named by Vancouver's MUNDORO MINING its VP China. He is an expert on Chinese commercial and political matters, and speaks Mandarin fluently.

QUINTO TECHNOLOGY has hired Michel Robert and Bryan Nethery as consultants to take over the supervision of Quinto's three advanced projects in Quebec. The Lac Brul project is testing titanium dioxide potential and the Pepper Lake and Lac Gueret North projects involve graphite.
