Calgary-based FORDING CANADIAN COAL TRUST has named R.J. (Jim) Brown its new VP and CFO. He will also become VP and CFO of the ELK VALLEY COAL PARTNERSHIP. The appointment takes effect on Oct. 3, 2005.
TECK COMINCO of Vancouver has invited Ron Millos to be its new senior VP finance and CFO, beginning Oct. 3, 2005. He succeeds John Taylor, who is retiring.
John Robins, P.Geo and a graduate of the University of British Columbia, has joined the board of Vancouver-based TENAJON RESOURCES. He is also a principal of Hunter Exploration Group and a director of the NWT and Nunavut Chamber of Mines.
