INCO LIMITED of Toronto has appointed Rick Waugh and Francis Mer to its board of directors. Waugh is currently president & CEO of Scotiabank and a fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers. Mer was the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry for the government of France from 2002 to 2004.

Colin David Patterson is the new president of Toronto-based OLYMPUS PACIFIC MINERALS, replacing Joseph Baylis who has left the company. Patterson is a Chartered Professional Mining Engineer (Australia) and holds degrees in mining engineering from the University of Witwatersrand and in business economics and finance from the University of South Africa. He is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a member of the South African Council of Professional Engineers.

Vancouver's LOGAN RESOURCES has named Clifford H. Frame to its board of directors. He is a professional engineer with 40 years of experience in all aspects of resource project development, acquisition, marketing, financing, operations and production (Quintette Coal in British Columbia and Westray Coal in Nova Scotia). He has also overseen several mine developments in Australia and Indonesia.

Jim Lincoln has joined JINSHAN GOLD MINES of Vancouver as VP corporate development. He will direct and manage the company's exploration and acquisition projects in Asia. His career includes 25 years' experience with such companies as Boliden, Cominco, Mt. Isa Mines and Pegasus Gold.
