ST ANDREW GOLDFIELDS of Oakville, Ont., has hired Stuart Green as general manager of the Stock gold complex in Timmins. He comes to St Andrew from the Ok Tedi mine in Papua New Guinea.

Brian W. Penny, formerly VP finance and CFO of Kinross Gold, has joined the board of directors at Toronto-based BAFFINLAND IRON MINES. He is also a member of the audit committee.

CALEDONIA MINING of Toronto has appointed Michael D. Tombs as VP finance and CFO. He joined the company in March 2004 as finance manager, Africa. He will be based in Caledonia’s Johannesburg office.

Saskatoon-based CAMECO CORP. has named O.K. (Kim) Goheen to the position of senior VP and CFO, effective Aug. 1, 2004. He joined Cameco in 1997, and played a key role in the recent launch of the new publicly-traded company, CENTERRA GOLD.

CAPSTONE GOLD of Vancouver has named Ken R. Thorsen as an independent member of its board. Noah E. Croom resigned his directorship and was appointed secretary of the company.

Peter J. Goodwin has joined the NORMISKA CORP. board of directors. He is past-president of Zemex Industrial Minerals and past-treasurer and founding director of the Industrial Minerals Association of North America.

OLYMPUS PACIFIC MINERALS of Toronto welcomes Erik Martin as CFO and corporate secretary.
