Ned Goodman has agreed to join the board of WOODRUFF CAPITAL MANAGEMENT in Toronto. He is also chairman of Goodman & Company Investment and CEO of Dundee Corp. and Dundee Wealth Management.

GLENCAIRN GOLD of Toronto has named Gaston A. Araya its VP of operations, replacing Kevin Drover who is stepping down. Araya was manager of the company's Limon mine in Nicaragua.

GOLD HAWK RESOURCES has named Kevin Drover president and COO of the company, effective July 17, 2006. He will be based in the Vancouver head office.

Effective May 1, 2006, Ross D. Gallinger will be the new VP of environment, health, safety and community for IAMGOLD of Toronto. Formerly, he was VP of sustainability with Placer Dome Canada.

Montreal-based PARAMOUNT GOLD and its Peruvian subsidiary Minera Paramount have added senior project geologist Marc Slauenwhite to their management team. For the past decade he was employed by Barrick Gold in Peru where he was part of the team that discovered the Alta Chicama and Pierina gold deposits.

SILVER WHEATON of Vancouver has named Peter Barnes its new president and CEO. He steps up from his previous position as executive VP and CFO of the company.

Robert Guilbault is now president and CEO of ALUMINERIE ALOUETTE in Sept-Iles, Quebec. After working for Alouette from 1994 to 2002 and becoming VP operations, Guilbault left to work as general manager of the Hillside Aluminum plant in South Africa. Joe H. Lombard is leaving the post of president & CEO in August 2006 to join HATCH.
