Garth Kirkham, a Vancouver-based expert in 3-D modeling and resource estimation, agreed with me that PC Gold's report highlighting the volume of gold zones at its Pickle Crow property is meaningless.

"You are correct," he wrote. "Reporting cubic meters without tonnage and grade data is misleading and this company is out of compliance with NI43-101. This also does not adhere to CIM standards (nor any standards) or best practices. I am surprised that Market Regulation Services allowed this press release at all. I imagine after your article, they will be forced to retract. Thanks for catching this!"

As of this writing, PC Gold has issued no retraction and the "cubic metres" number is featured prominently on its website.
