We seemed to have touched a nerve last week by dropping Justin Trudeau's name into our editorial about the movement to block development of Canadian Zinc's project near the Nahanni River.

"In the past great Canadians were praised because they 'made things happen'. Today, people are praised when they prevent things from happening. Something is wrong with this scenario. Mr. Trudeau should provide evidence to justify his statement," wrote R.R. Potter.

"Who gives a rip about some blueblood's offspring who's trying to get onto the public's radar screen. Get a job, Trudeau," added Raymond Hietapakka.

For the record, Trudeau is chairman of Katimavik (Canada's national youth service learning program) and a qualified teacher of English, French and math.
