ONTARIO FIRST NICKEL of Toronto continues to enjoy success as it drills the Morgan-Lumsden property on the North Range of the Sudbury Basin. Core recovered from recent drilling assayed 2.03% Ni and 0.26% Cu over 5.20 m. First Nickel has an option to earn a 50% interest in the Morgan-Lumsden project from Xstrata, whose Strathcona mill is 12 km to the west.

The sulphides intersected by this hole are interpreted by Xstrata as hosted in a broad zone of Sudbury Breccia 50 m below the Sudbury Igneous Complex contact.

Although assays are not available, First Nickel says the geologic features indicate further opportunity for footwall mineralization on the property. These features include a significant proportion of Sudbury Breccia intersected in the footwall, below the massive sulphide intercept, with local and scattered disseminated, blebby and fracture controlled chalcopyrite mineralization.

More detailed information about the Morgan-Lumsden property is posted at www.FirstNickel.com.
