ONTARIO - PACIFIC NORTH WEST CAPITAL of Vancouver has begun a 2,000-m diamond drill program at its Timmins West claims near the city of Timmins. The program targets EM conductors south of Xstratas Montcalm nickel mine. The targets are within the strike extension of the interpreted mine stratigraphy of the Montcalm Intrusive Complex (MIC), says Pacific North West.

Numerous other anomalies, along strike of the MIC, delineated by AeroTEM, downhole geophysics and geochemical techniques, remain to be drill-tested. Other geological target areas within the MIC still have to be evaluated by ground reconnaissance surveys. These follow-up programs are expected to be initiated later in the year.

Pacific North West (www.PFNCapital.com) is earning 100% interest in the project from XSTRATA NICKEL. The property lies approximately 60 km west of the city.
