ONTARIO - Toronto's FALCONBRIDGE has granted options on three exploration properties to FIRST NICKEL, also of Toronto. The propertiesBowell, Foy Mouth and Morgan-Lumsdenare located along a 10-km section of the eastern portion of the Sudbury Basin. First Nickel believes a known deposit on the Bowell property has near-term open pit production potential.
First Nickel is committed to a multi-year deal for exploration, feasibility studies and production at Bowell that will earn it 100% of the Bowell property and 50% of the Foy Mouth and Morgan-Lumsden properties.
