NORTHERN ONTARIO The Dundonald nickel project near Timmins has returned assays as high as 11.84% Ni over 1.7 metres for its owner FIRST NICKEL of Toronto. The high grade was noted in the company’s results for 13 diamond drillholes, some of which also returned gold/PGE values.

First Nickel is testing a North and a South sector at the property. Both strike east-west, dip steeply to the south, and are centred approximately 125 metres apart. They are hosted by an Archean komatiitic volcanic package. The company says the very high-grade intersection occurred in the North sector. Definition drilling on the South zone is continuing.

First Nickel’s web site at www.FirstNickel.com is under construction, but president Elizabeth Kirkwood may be reached at 416-364-6928 or ekirkwood@firstnickel.com.
