ONTARIO - Striking unionized staff at the CVRD Inco's Sudbury operations voted Apr. 2 to accept a new three-year collective bargaining agreement, ending a labour dispute that had begun two days earlier. The 330 members of United Steelworkers Local 2020, Unit 6600 voted 87.4% in favour of the new agreement. The contract includes guaranteed annual minimum salary improvements of 2.75%, 2.5% and 2.25% for the three years of the deal as well as enhanced profit-sharing for Q1 2007.
