VANCOUVER - Facing certain failure of its bid, BEMA GOLD has withdrawn its bid for control of Toronto-based ARIZONA STAR. Bema announced in December 2004 that it was making an "insider bid" for 1.85 million Arizona Star shares.
Arizona Star president and CEO Paul Parisotto said his company is seeking advice concerning the legal and financial consequences of Bema's actions.
