SOUTH MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin BUCYRUS INTERNATIONAL has sold two previously-owned 395BII shovels to Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD), which runs the Carajas mine in Brazil. The shovels will be reconditioned and upgraded by the manufacturer. Upgrades include the addition of an insulated gate bipolar transducer electric system from Siemens.

The shovels feature 67-tonne rated payloads, optimized components, and the FastFil bucket design. They were previously used in a North American mine.
