TORONTO SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC's new Square D I-Line panelboards now have unique plug-on Visi-Trip circuit breakers. Plug-on circuit breakers are ready to install with permanently attached line connections, and are easily mounted with a screwdriver. "Blow-on" breaker connections ensure a lifetime of complete electrical integrity even during short circuits.
Main breakers can be either vertically or horizontally mounted, and a unique single, vertical main bus stack maximizes flexibility in locating breakers. The Visi-Trip breakers come in three types: I-Limiter (combining a conventional high-speed circuit breaker mechanism with a fuseless current limit section); Electronic trip (combining proven Square D moulded circuit breaker design with advanced electronic technology to provide long-time and instantaneous trip functions); and Micrologic (combining electronic trip circuit breaker technology with communications and power metering/monitoring capabilities to provide adjustable trip settings such as long/short time, ground fault pickup/delay and instantaneous pickup).
