TORONTO, Ontario The new PowerLogic Power Meter 800 (PM800) features an easy-to-read display that allows users to view all three phases plus neutral for current or voltage at one time. It combines data collection with its unique firmware so that it automatically forecasts power usage, giving customers greater control over their power management efforts. Users can access information such as real time trend plots, averages and demand metering, instead of just raw data. This means that power control, load curtailments and load preservation programs can be developed to drive down energy costs.
The PM800 is only 96 mm by 96 mm and promises enough power for advanced functionality and a display that can be read in extreme lighting conditions or viewing angles. It has custom logging capability usually found only in higher-priced units. It can be ordered with a memory of 80 kb to 800 kb.
